Ci Prabodh Telang (InfoSec)

Prabodh Telang has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Prabodh currently holds the position of Information Security Officer (ISO) & Director of Information Security at Credit Union of Colorado. In this role, they lead and manages the organization's Information Security program, ensuring the implementation of appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, and privacy.

Prior to their current role, Prabodh has worked in various other positions. Prabodh was a member at Aphinia, a Cloud Security Architect (Global) at IBM, and a Sr. Security OPS Analyst at Welltok, Inc. In these roles, they designed and implemented cloud security solutions, monitored and audited security operations, and ensured compliance with industry standards.

Additionally, Prabodh has also served as an Information Security Lead at Metropolitan State University of Denver, a Sr. Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, an IT/Security Manager at Alticast, an Information Management Sr. Specialist at Xerox, a Sr. IT Specialist at Marvell Semiconductors Inc, and a Sr. NOC Systems Engineer at eBay.

Prabodh Telang holds a Master's degree in Information Security (MS) and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Prabodh Telang completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics (Hons.) from Shivaji University between 1987 and 1991. They also received a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates degree (AICBSC) from Choithram School Indore (CSI) in 1987.

In 2007, Prabodh began pursuing a Master of Applied Science (MAS) in Security Management (InfoSec) at the University of Denver, which they completed in 2009. They then underwent training for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification at ISC2 CISSP Training in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Prabodh has obtained various certifications to enhance their expertise in the field. These include the Certifed Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2014, the Accredited Configuration Engineer certification from Palo Alto Networks in 2015, the IBM Selling Profession Certification - Level 1 Experienced from IBM Global Business Services Talent & Engagement in 2015, the Cloud Technical Sales Foundation certification from IBM in 2016, and the CYBERSECURITY GOVERNANCE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS certification from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2022. Furthermore, they earned the NIMS certification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012.
