André Paz Ferreira

André Paz Ferreira is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Principal Engineer at Creditas since November 2020, André specializes in microservices architecture using Spring Boot, Kotlin, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Prior to this, André worked at Invillia as a Java/Kotlin Backend Engineering Specialist and Senior Systems Analyst for a prominent food delivery startup, iFood. André also held the position of Technology Director at Heartbit, overseeing a rewards program for outdoor exercise, and worked as a Senior Java Developer at Globalweb Corp, contributing to projects for Caixa Econômica Federal. André co-founded Akash Solucoes Inteligentes, a software company specializing in bespoke IT solutions. André holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Brasília.
