Desmond Billkara

Desmond Billkara is an experienced finance and accounting professional with a strong background in financial operations and auditing. Currently serving as the Manager of Finance Operations & Accounting at Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited since July 2022, Desmond oversees accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and coordinates external audit processes while ensuring compliance with statutory financial reporting requirements. Prior roles include Senior Accountant at PwC Papua New Guinea, where roles progressed through senior associate auditor positions, and earlier experiences as an accountant at Kina Bank. Desmond also held leadership as President of the Junior Society of Accountants at Divine Word University and gained foundational experience as an accounting trainee at Madang District Treasury. Desmond holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Divine Word University, completed in 2018.
