Mark Jones

Mark Jones has a diverse work experience in software development and architecture. Mark started their career at State Street as a Senior Analyst Programmer, where they worked on various projects utilizing Hibernate and Spring frameworks. Mark then joined Adaptive Mobile as a Senior Java J2EE Developer, acting as a Technical Lead on the Reporting project. Mark worked at FINEOS Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, enhancing and maintaining the FINEOS product line and implementing Axis/JAXB based Web Services. Mark later joined Dimension Data as a Senior Software Engineer, working on cloud platform integration with F5 networking products. Mark also worked at KBC Bank Ireland as a Senior Software Engineer and then as a Software Architect, leading projects for online and mobile banking platforms and introducing API and REST principles. Their most recent role is at CreditLogic as a Software Architect, where they are involved in developing a mortgage origination platform. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated expertise in Java development, web services, and cloud integration.

Mark Jones attended the University of Limerick from 1986 to 1990, where they pursued a degree in Business Studies with a focus on Account and Economics. In May 2020, they obtained a certification in Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design from LinkedIn.
