Enrique Díaz de Diego

Enrique Delatorre is a Quality Line Support Engineer at Abbott, providing essential quality engineering support to manufacturing since July 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Project Manager for a senior design project in collaboration with Ossur Americas, focusing on innovative orthotics testing devices, and working as a Research & Development Engineer on a startup project aimed at redesigning the vaginal speculum for enhanced patient comfort. Additionally, Enrique has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher designing custom wheelchair components and has held the position of Safety Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach for nearly a decade. Enrique holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine and multiple associate degrees from Irvine Valley College in Mathematics, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
