Mark Alexander Lightner has a diverse work experience spanning various legal roles. Mark Alexander started their career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Arizona in 2007 and then moved to the United States Judiciary in 2008, where they served as a Judicial Law Clerk for a year. In 2011, they joined Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as an Associate and worked there until 2016. From 2016 to 2023, they worked at Morrison & Foerster LLP as Of Counsel. In 2021, they became an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Special Situations Legal Research at CreditSights.
