Burak Gunes is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in risk management and analytics. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Billd since November 2022, Burak Gunes focuses on enhancing account underwriting, improving credit policy, and driving the company's strategic vision to optimize shareholder value. Previously, as Chief Risk and Analytics Officer at Foundation Finance Company LLC, Burak Gunes automated credit policies and built high-performing analytics teams. A long tenure at Capital One included roles such as Head of Cobrand Credit, where Burak Gunes managed substantial partner portfolios, and Divisional Credit Risk Officer, overseeing credit risk for a significant asset base.
