Nate Faerber

Nate Faerber is currently a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Credo AI. Prior to this, they were an Engineering Manager, SRE at UJET from February 2018 to August 2021. Nate's responsibilities there included leading the SRE team in evolving their platform to be micro-service friendly and improve scaling capabilities using Kubernetes and GitOps approach. Container services with Kubernetes on EKS and GitOps with ArgoCD were among their areas of focus.

From May 2016 to February 2018, Faerber worked as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at FutureAdvisor. There, they were responsible for AWS, Ruby On Rails, Docker, Artifactory, Jenkins, and Hashicorp Terraform and Consul.

Faerber began their career in April 2010 as Lead DevOps Engineer at ItsOn, Inc., where they were responsible for architecting the deployment and scaling of the first generation server platform. Nate later led the DevOps team to support the dev/test and production environments. The SaaS platform technology stack included Cassandra, Memcached, Nginx, HAProxy, Tomcat, and Oracle Database. The DevOps stack included Rundeck, Chef, Zabbix, and Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Telespree Communications from May 2006 to May 2010.

Nate Faerber attended the University of Arizona where they received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Nate also holds certifications from Redis Labs in RU101 Certificate and RU202 Certificate from Redis University.

Their manager is Eli Chen, CTO & Co-Founder. Nate Faerber works with Ed Morales - Senior Frontend Engineer, Chang Shin - Senior Software Engineer.
