Jefferson Camacho Mejía

Jefferson Camacho Mejía has a strong background in technology and software development. Jefferson currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Credyty, where they have been since October 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Technology Department at Credyty from January 2021 to September 2023. Before joining Credyty, Jefferson worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at the same company from July 2020 to December 2020.

Before their time at Credyty, Jefferson worked as a Software Development Engineer Lead at E.Q.Awen from September 2019 to June 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Engineer at DIGITALWARE from December 2018 to August 2019.

Jefferson's early work experience includes roles at Universidad Industrial de Santander. Jefferson served as an Ingeniero i+D+i from February 2017 to November 2018. Jefferson also worked as an Analista de desarrollo de software en Proyecto SICAAC (UIS-MinJusticia) from September 2016 to December 2017, and as an Oficial de seguridad de la información en Proyecto SICAAC (UIS-MinJusticia) from July 2016 to December 2016. Jefferson started their career as a Desarrollador .NET Junior at the same university from January 2015 to June 2016.

Jefferson Camacho Mejía completed their undergraduate education at Universidad Industrial de Santander from 2008 to 2016, earning a degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on computer engineering. Afterwards, they continued their education at the same university and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Systems and Computer Engineering, specializing in Information Security Management.
