Brian Self

Brian Self is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in technology integration and automation. Currently serving as a Senior Technology Integration Engineer at Cree LED since March 2021, Brian previously held various positions at Cree from May 2006 to February 2021, including Product Development Engineer, Automation and Controls Engineer, and Process Development Engineer. Prior to joining Cree, Brian worked as a Staff Systems Engineer at Logan Aluminum, where support was provided for Level 2 automation systems, and as a Controls Engineer at Duracell Inc., where process automation improvements were implemented for battery manufacturing. Brian's career also includes a significant tenure at Agfa HealthCare as a Senior Engineer. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Certificate in Embedded & Real-Time Systems Programming from UW Professional & Continuing Education.
