Paul Thieken

Paul Thieken has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Paul started their career at General Electric's Semiconductor Business Division as a Design Engineer from 1984 to 1988. Paul then worked at Bell Northern Research as a Member of Scientific Staff from 1988 to 1992. Following that, they joined Nortel Networks as Director of Marketing Products from 1992 to 2006. From 2006 to 2021, Paul served as the Global Marketing Director at Cree. Currently, they are the Vice President of Business Development at Cree LED since March 2021.

Paul Thieken received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1984. Paul went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at North Carolina State University from 1984 to 1988. Later, they completed an MBA program at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 1990 to 1992.
