Heather Hollingsworth Issvoran has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Heather began their career at Williams Island in 1991 as an HR Coordinator and held this role until 1993. Heather then joined FamilyCare of Monterey Bay in 2000 as the Director of Human Resources, where they worked until 2002. In 2003, they started working at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security, initially as the Director of Program Operations and Public Affairs for MPSC Inc., and later transitioned to the role of Director of Strategic Communications for VRC Inc. within the same organization. Heather held these positions until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at MAC Consulting Services, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Communications for the Center for Homeland Defense and Security. Currently, they are working at Creek Technologies Company as the Director of Strategic Communications for the Center for Homeland Defense and Security.

CreekTech delivers the Homeland Security Master's program at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. CHDS delivers graduate-level education to federal employees and members of state, local, tribal and territorial levels of government and law enforcement. CHDS consists of the Master's program, Executive Leaders Program and Mobile Education Teams delivering executive-level seminars covering homeland security topics.
