Ric McAllister is an experienced healthcare executive with a focus on behavioral health. Currently serving as the CEO of Creekside Behavioral Health since July 2019, Ric previously held the same role at Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine from August 2013 to June 2019, overseeing Ohio's largest free-standing psychiatric hospital. Prior to these roles, Ric was the Director of Behavioral Services at Premier Health - Miami Valley Hospital & Good Samaritan Hospital, managing multiple inpatient and outpatient programs with significant budgetary responsibilities. Additional experience includes directing residential treatment services for adolescents at Intensive Treatment Programs-Indiana and overseeing a variety of mental health and rehabilitative services at Marion General Hospital, Inc. Ric holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University.

Creekside Behavioral Health is an acute behavioral health hospital serving adolescents, adults, and seniors located in the Kingsport, TN area. We provide a structured, therapeutic, and safe environment for those patients in and around the Kingsport area and throughout Tennessee who require acute care with psychiatric or behavioral health challenges. Our multidisciplinary team’s approach makes use of a highly-trained medical and professional staff to help individuals find the self-acceptance and confidence they need to be successful in their families, communities, workplaces and schools. Creekside Behavioral Health is open for admissions seven days a week, 24 hours. Assessments are conducted by our clinicians free of charge and can be scheduled by anyone in need of assistance. Physician referrals are not required in order to receive an assessment. The goal of our inpatient program is to effectively treat adults and seniors suffering from acute psychiatric challenges. We provide assessment, diagnosis and rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric issues with referrals to less intensive, appropriate levels of follow-up care and support.
