Charles Steed

Charles Steed serves as the Director of Presidential Communications at Creighton University since December 2022, where responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies for diverse audiences. Previously, from August 2010 to December 2022, Charles held multiple roles at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, including Associate Director of Internal Communications, focusing on internal communication strategies; Associate Director of Communications, overseeing storytelling initiatives for Academic Affairs and Business and Finance; and Associate Director of Media Relations, managing media operations. Additional experience includes teaching at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and various instructional roles at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, along with freelance writing for CQ Press. Charles holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting - New Media from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
