Christine Carmichael

Christine Carmichael serves as the Senior Research & Instruction Librarian for Business, Arts, and Sciences at Creighton University since August 2005, where responsibilities include developing and assessing an information literacy program and mentoring new staff. Previously, Christine was a Web Services/Business Reference Librarian, managing the Reinert-Alumni Library's website and serving as a liaison to multiple academic departments. Christine's earlier experience includes working as a Taxonomy Consultant for Client Resources, Inc., analyzing information structures for a life insurance company, and holding various roles at the US Army Corps of Engineers, including Records Manager and Library Technician. Christine holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
