Matt Christianson

Matt Christianson has a long and varied work experience in the technology industry. Matt started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer for IS.COM, followed by a role as Web Development Director for BestBuy.com. In 2000, they moved to Zamba Solutions as a UI Architect/Java Developer. In 2005, they held the same position at Technology Solutions Company. From 2007 to 2010, they were Lead Software Engineer at RedBrick Health, where they provided technical leadership and expertise for the entire platform and software development lifecycle. From 2010 to 2018, they were Lead Software Engineer and Application Architect at Bloom Health, where they developed standards and frameworks to be used across the organization. In 2018, they moved to Target as Lead Engineer, and also began working at Vyasa Analytics as Senior Software Engineer. Since 2014, they have been Chief Technology Officer at DealBoard.org, where they are responsible for all aspects of technology for the demand-driven platform serving the commercial real estate industry. Additionally, since 2006 they have been an independent consultant at Sock Monkey Development, focusing on development and architecture design for various high profile clients.

Matt Christianson attended St. Cloud State University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications. Matt also attended Winona State University from 1988 to 1990, but did not earn a degree.
