Alex Lester

Alex Lester is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and sales within the timber engineering industry. Currently serving as Multi Site Director and General Manager at Crendon Timber Engineering Ltd since January 2012, Alex oversees two locations with approximately fifty employees, demonstrating full business responsibility. Previous roles include West Regional Manager, where Alex led a team of thirty sales and design staff across multiple sites, and National Sales Manager, focusing on building relationships to drive sales performance. Alex began the career as a Roof Truss Designer at Snows Timber Limited, honing skills in truss and joist design and customer service. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Leadership and Management from Plymouth Marjon University and a second Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Bournemouth University, along with qualifications in accountancy and AutoCAD.
