Matei Budes

Matei Budes is a Camera Director and Director of Photography (DoP) at Creo Media Group since February 2022, focusing on film and live event production. Prior to this role, Matei operated as a Technical Producer for BNPFA from January 2018 to February 2022, managing projects in medical videos, live streaming, and corporate content. Matei's earlier experience includes serving as a Video Editor and DoP at ViraFilms from April 2007 to January 2018, where work involved various video projects including NGO promotions and documentaries. Additionally, Matei held a position as a video editor at Hotnews.ro, overseeing the video department of a leading Romanian online newspaper from February 2011 to April 2013. Academically, Matei holds a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology from the Scoala Nationala de Studii Politice si Administrative (SNSPA), and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Bucharest.
