Julia Pizzey

Julia Pizzey has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Julia began their career in 1993 as a Research Technician at St George's, University of London, where they researched the modulation of lung cell derived proteinases by cytokines and drugs used to treat inflammatory airway disorders. In 1997, they moved to GSK as a Quality Control Analyst. Julia then joined MedImmune in 2000, where they held various roles, including Senior Manager and Manager of R&D and Quality Control Scientist. In 2019, they joined AstraZeneca as a Senior Manager of R&D, where they were responsible for the strategic development and delivery of analytical packages in support of product development activities. Julia is currently the Director of CMC Analytical Development at Crescendo Biologics Limited.

Julia Pizzey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Applied Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester.
