Derrick McFerrien

Derrick McFerrien has had a diverse range of roles in the automotive finance industry. Derrick started their career at Subaru of Gwinnett as a Special Finance Manager, where they successfully introduced a Special Finance department and increased market share. Derrick then moved on to Smart Move Auto as a General Manager, where they implemented effective marketing plans and achieved recognition as one of the top-performing stores in the region. Derrick later joined Team Toyota as a Sales Finance Manager, exceeding all sales quotas and managing daily operations.

Continuing their career in the finance industry, Derrick joined Southern Auto Finance Company as a Territory Manager, where they built and maintained relationships with Georgia dealers and was ranked as the top territory manager in the state. Derrick then worked at Skopos Financial as a Regional Business Development Manager, focusing on business development opportunities and cultivating relationships. After that, Derrick joined Foursight Capital LLC as a Dealer Relationship Manager, where they successfully managed dealer relationships.

In 2017, Derrick joined Nalley Automotive Group as an Auto Finance Manager, responsible for managing financing options for customers. Derrick then returned to Skopos Financial as a Regional Business Development Manager, where they continued to excel in business development and relationship management.

Most recently, Derrick worked at First Help Financial as a Business Development Manager, where they effectively built relationships with customers, identified business development opportunities, and implemented strategic client acquisition strategies. Currently, they are working at Crescent Bank as a Market Sales Executive/Dealer Relations.

Derrick McFerrien obtained their High School Diploma in Advance academics from Hueytown High School, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Derrick then pursued higher education at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Urban and Community Planning.
