Derrick Williams

Derrick Williams has over 25 years of work experience in the financial industry. Derrick'smost recent position is Vice President of Funding at Crescent Bank, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they were Director of Underwriting at USAUTO SALES, LLC from 2020 to 2023. From 2017 to 2020, they served as Director of Credit Operations at CLA. Before that, they held the position of Director of Underwriting and Funding at American Credit Acceptance from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, they have worked at JD Byrider as Consumer Credit Manager from 2007 to 2011 and at Ford Motor Credit Company as L&D instructor/analyst from 1996 to 2004. Throughout their career, Derrick has gained experience in training, leadership, underwriting, credit operations, and funding.

Derrick Williams earned their Bachelor's degree in Economics & Statistics from California State University, Los Angeles, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Prior to attending CSULA, they attended Occidental College from 1990 to 1992, studying Physics but did not earn a degree from the institution.
