Joseph Caguioa

Joseph Caguioa has a diverse work experience in various roles. Joseph started their career in 2013 as a Data Entry Clerk at North Dallas Dermatology Associates. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at VRL Eurofins Laboratories, initially as a Laboratory Technologist and later as a Lead Laboratory Technologist. In this role, they performed various laboratory tests, maintained lab readiness, and developed tools using Microsoft Suite.

In 2019, Joseph worked as a Teaching Assistant at Southern Methodist University, where they assisted with Statistics 1 in the M.S. in Data Science program. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Laboratory Manager at Southwest Transplant Alliance, overseeing the organization's in-house laboratory and managing various laboratory operations. In addition to their managerial responsibilities, they also utilized data analysis skills by querying the laboratory information system's database and using Python and R to track KPIs, perform analyses, and generate reports.

Currently, Joseph is working as a Data Engineer at Crescent Bank, starting in 2022.

Joseph Caguioa completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Business Administration at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2010 to 2014. Joseph then pursued a Master of Science degree in Data Science at Southern Methodist University from 2018 to 2020. In September 2020, they obtained a certification in SQL Fundamentals Track from DataCamp.
