Amanda Kirkland

Amanda Kirkland has extensive experience in financial reporting and auditing. Amanda began their career at KPMG US as an Audit Associate in August 2015 and worked their way up to Senior Audit Associate in July 2017. In July 2020, they became an Audit Manager but left the company in September 2020. After leaving KPMG US, Amanda joined Crescent Communities, where they initially served as the Financial Reporting Manager from September 2020 to January 2023. Amanda then assumed the role of Director of Financial Reporting starting in January 2023.

Amanda Kirkland obtained a Master of Accountancy degree from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they had completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration with a focus on Banking and Finance, along with Applied Critical Thought and Inquiry, at William Jewell College from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Amanda Kirkland also obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in December 2018.
