Fran West

Fran West is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the real estate sector, currently serving as the Director of Development at Crescent Communities since March 2022. In this role, Fran oversees the development of commercial projects in Charlotte and nationwide, leveraging expertise in business recruitment and economic development to establish partnerships with companies and agencies. Prior to this position, Fran held leadership roles within the City of Charlotte, including Assistant Director of Economic Development, and Project Manager, where significant contributions were made to business recruitment and transformative projects. Additional experience includes serving as Capital Projects Manager at the University of Tennessee and as a Project Manager at Kimley-Horn and Associates, focusing on engineering solutions and client service. Fran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
