Abed has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Abed started their career in 2006 at Crescent Foods, where they initially worked as a Sales Representative and Director of Logistics. Over time, Abed advanced within the company and held positions such as Director of Business Development, Executive Director of Sales, and currently, as the Executive National Sales Director. In 2019, Abed also had a role as a Business Development Engineer at Precise Business Solution LLC.

Abed attended Moraine Valley Community College from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Abed did not receive a degree during this time. In June 2012, Abed obtained a certification from the State Of Illinois Department Of Public Health through the Illinois Department of Public Health. Additionally, in February 2012, Abed obtained a certification as a Certified Foodservice Manager from the Chicago Department of Public Health.
