Mohammed Sirwan has a diverse work experience with roles in various industries. Mohammed currently works as an HSE Administrator at Crescent Petroleum since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International starting from February 2020. In addition, they joined CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply as a Member in August 2022. Mohammed has also held positions at Aland Energy Company, where they served as a Camp Boss and a Site Administrator in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Before that, they worked at Sulaimani Center for Engineering Consultancy (SCEC) as a Project Coordinator and as a Procurement Officer & Planning Engineer from 2019 to 2022. Mohammed also has experience as a Chess Club President and a Senator for the Engineering Department at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani in 2018. Mohammed'searlier work includes internships as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Bazyan Combined Cycle Power Plant in 2018 and as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Mass Cement in 2017.

Mohammed Sirwan attended the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Energy Engineering. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Managing Safely from IOSH in July 2022, Electrical Power Systems by University at Buffalo and The State University of New York from Coursera in May 2020, Enhanced Production Through Surface Facilities Sand Management Course Certificate from the Society of Petroleum Engineers International in April 2020, Oil & Gas Industry Operations and Markets by Duke University from Coursera in November 2019, and Well Control Awareness level 1 from the International Well Control Forum in December 2018.
