Osama Bahjat Saleh has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Osama started their career at Weatherford in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery on drilling rigs. Osama then joined OilSERV in 2014 as an MWD/LWD Field Engineer, specializing in measurement and logging while drilling operations. In 2017, they joined Mass Group Holding Ltd. as a Site Lead/Engineer, where they focused on gas turbine mechanical maintenance and designing maintenance strategies. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Van Steel Iraq as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, participating in structural steel building projects. Currently, they are employed at Crescent Petroleum as a KM 500 Mechanical and Piping Engineer, overseeing mechanical maintenance activities and ensuring safe systems of work are implemented.
Osama Bahjat Saleh earned an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Salahaddin University-Erbil, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as Root Cause Analysis, Gas Turbine Mechanical Maintenance, Abrasive Wheels Power & Hand Tools Safety, Confined Spaces, Defensive Driving, Fire Team Member, First Aid, Genie Lift (Man Lifting), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), and Log out and tag out procedures. These certifications were obtained between 2013 and 2019 from institutions such as SMG, Masaood John Brown International in Dubai, GTSC Iraq, and Almansoori Safety Services.
