Tariq Elamin Bakheit

Tariq Elamin Bakheit is an experienced legal professional specializing in petroleum and energy law. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Crescent Petroleum since January 2016, Tariq has developed expertise in negotiating and drafting various agreements related to the transportation, storage, and sale of petroleum products, as well as advising on upstream matters and construction contracts. Prior to this role, Tariq held positions as Senior Legal Counsel at Dana Gas PJSC from June 2013 to December 2015 and as Group Legal Advisor at Emirates National Oil Company Ltd (ENOC) from January 2010 to June 2013. Tariq’s career began at Crescent Petroleum in March 2006 as Legal Counsel. Academic credentials include an LLM (Distinction) in Resources Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent, and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Khartoum.
