Raji Kumar, PT, MBA has extensive experience in healthcare management and consulting. Raji is currently the Managing Partner & CEO of Hill Regional Hospital and previously held the same role at Crescent Medical Center Lancaster. Raji also worked as a Compliance and Strategic Turnaround Consultant at RVP Consulting. Raji served as Partner & CEO of Urgent Care of Texas from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Raji was the Regional CEO of Dallas Medical Center and Dallas Regional Medical Center. Raji successfully turned around the Dallas Medical Center as its CEO, achieving a significant increase in volume and decreasing operating costs. Raji also held the position of CEO at Oakland Regional Hospital and Director of Business Development & Marketing at Select Specialty Hospital, where they achieved target budgets, negotiated contracts, and increased revenue.
Raji Kumar, PT, MBA, received a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from Annamalai University in 1995. In 2002, they earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Oakland University. Raji then pursued an MBA from the University of Michigan, graduating in 2006. In 2010, they furthered their education at Harvard Business School, completing a program in Managing Health Care Delivery.
Crescent Regional Hospital
Crescent Regional Hospital is an eighty-four bed acute care general hospital in Lancaster, Texas. The newly renovated medical-surgical hospital is licensed by the Texas Department of Health, and accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and self-pay patients. The facility has eight Intensive Care Unit beds, ten Emergency Department beds, four state-of-the-art operating suites, and a cystoscopy suite. The hospital's extensive outpatient center has an additional ten beds and two procedure rooms. The new imaging center is outfitted with digital x-ray and CT services, and will expand to include MRI, nuclear medicine and other imaging services in the future.
