Michael Trott

Michael Trott has a diverse work experience in the engineering and property management industry. Michael started their career as the President of MT Spaces Construction Project Management and Property Management in 2002. In this role, they successfully managed the company for ten years. In 2012, they joined Crestline Hotels & Resorts as a Chief Engineer and later became the Complex Chief Engineer. Michael then worked at Broad Street Realty as the Director of Facilities and Senior Property Manager from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they returned to Crestline Hotels & Resorts and took on the role of Area Director of Engineering. Michael was promoted to Corporate Director of Engineering in 2019 and currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering.

Michael Trott's education history includes various certifications and degrees in engineering, sociology, and the visual and performing arts. In terms of formal education, they attended the University of Maryland from 1994 to 1998, majoring in sociology. In the same year, they also took some general studies courses at Prince George's Community College. Prior to their university education, Michael graduated from Suitland High School in 1994, where they focused on visual and performing arts.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Michael has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they received the Certified Chief Engineer (CCE) designation from the National Association of Hotel & Lodging Engineers (NAHLE). This certification is focused on engineering. In 2016, Michael obtained the Universal 608 - Section 608 Technician Certification from the ESCO Institute. This certification further solidified their knowledge and expertise in engineering. Furthermore, they have also earned a Certified Pool and Spa Operator (CPO) Certificate from the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF), showcasing their proficiency in swimming pool and spa operations repair and maintenance.

Michael's commitment to continuous learning is evident through the additional certifications they have pursued, such as the Legionnaires Disease and Waterborne Associated Infections: Strategies to Reduce Risk certification from Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company. With their diverse educational background and certifications, Michael Trott has equipped himself with a range of skills and knowledge in multiple disciplines.
