Scott, whose extensive banking career includes commercial lending and managerial experience, is a Vice President, Commercial Banker for Charlotte State Bank & Trust.
Originally from Smyrna, Georgia, Scott moved to Punta Gorda in 1983 with his family. He graduated as Valedictorian from Charlotte High School and earned an Associate of Science degree from Edison Community College (now Florida SouthWestern State College). He went on to graduate from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
An active community member outside of work, Scott has served as a finance committee member of Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity and as a board treasurer of Visually Impaired Persons of Charlotte County.
