Gene Gutnik

Gene Gutnik is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles. Currently serving as Founder and Chief Technology Officer at byCore since November 2019, Gene Gutnik is dedicated to supporting the future construction workforce. Prior to this, Gene held the position of VP of Engineering at WeWork, where responsibilities included leading the engineering team for the company's cities initiative. Gene's background includes a significant tenure at Google from 2004 to 2019 as an IoT lead, researcher in VR/AR, and software engineer. Additional experience encompasses executive and engineering positions at Coehl, ZoneLabs, PSS Systems, Visteon Technologies LLC, and Softech, where Gene was instrumental in developing pioneering navigation software and data processing solutions.
