Benjamin Davies

Benjamin Davies has over 20 years of experience in materials stewardship, environmental management, and academia. Currently serving as Lead for Materials Stewardship and Circular Economy at Anglo American since July 2017, Benjamin previously held roles in the International Council on Mining and Metals, including Acting Director of Environmental Stewardship and Social Progress from 2004 to June 2017, where responsibilities encompassed climate change and sustainable practices in mining. Earlier experience includes managing materials stewardship programs and conducting research at Trinity College Dublin and the University of Birmingham. Benjamin holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Birmingham.
