Edward Mays

Edward (Les) Mays, MS, CSP, currently serves as the Regional EHS Director at CRH since April 2023. Prior to this role, Les held positions as Safety Director at S.M. Lawrence from November 2022 to April 2023, and Safety Manager at Barriere Construction from June 2015 to November 2022, as well as Field Safety Coordinator. Experience includes working as a Safety Specialist at Amazon from May 2014 to June 2015, where responsibilities included monitoring incident trends and ensuring compliance with EHS policies. Les began the safety career as a Safety Intern at Barriere Construction in 2013. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health - Safety Management from Murray State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same institution.
