Elena Guede Vazquez

Elena Guede Vazquez is a seasoned professional in sustainability and quality management, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Sustainability Strategy at CRH, a global leader in construction materials. With an extensive career spanning over two decades, Elena has held significant positions including Corporate Quality Director at CRH, Cement Plant Director at Cementos Lemona, and Corporate Innovation and Quality Director at Cementos Portland Valderrivas. Additionally, Elena holds a non-executive director role at CELSA Group and has been a trustee of TECNALIA Research & Innovation since 2016. An accomplished academic, Elena obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on environment from Universidad del País Vasco and completed an Executive MBA at Escuela Europea de Negocios.
