Lars Biel

Lars Biel has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as the Head of Procurement Strategy at CRH since June 2016. In this role, Lars Biel focuses on developing functional strategies and leading initiatives to drive value across the group. Previously held positions include leadership roles in sustainability and procurement excellence, as well as directing procurement operations in Western Europe with significant spending oversight. Prior to CRH, Lars Biel worked at GE Power as the Director of Procurement and at Alstom Power as the Head of Sourcing, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing strategies and supplier negotiation. Earlier career experiences include manager roles at Cummins and a supplier management position at DaimlerChrysler. Lars Biel holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Industrial Goods Marketing & Procurement from the University of Stuttgart.
