Rex Cheng

Rex Cheng is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in senior roles within major organizations. Since August 2013, Rex has served as the VGM and CFO at Yatai Building Materials, part of CRH, where responsibilities have included deputy CFO and senior finance manager positions. Prior to this, Rex worked at Italcementi Group from October 2007 to August 2013 as procurement director and deputy CFO. Earlier in Rex's career, employment at PricewaterhouseCoopers spanned from August 2002 to July 2007 as a senior associate. Rex Cheng holds an EMBA in Business Administration and Management from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, earned between June 2020 and October 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in International Trade from Xi'an International Studies University, completed in 2002.
