Shakil Rahman

Shakil Rahman is a Project Support Engineer at CRH, with a global role spanning sites in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and North America since October 2024. Previously, Shakil served as a Civil & Geo Section Engineer and Civil & Geo Site Engineer at Laing O'Rourke, focusing on the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Island project, where responsibilities included managing temporary works and leading site engineering teams. Prior experience includes working as a Site Engineer and Graduate Engineer at Careys, and holding graduate and trainee positions at Tandem Project Management Ltd., where Shakil contributed to structural design and project management. Shakil holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering from University College Cork.
