Benji York

Benji York is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Cribl since May 2024, Benji focuses on developing systems capable of handling petabytes of data. Prior to this, Benji held the position of Chief Technology Officer at FLOW Partners, LLC, where the emphasis was on building SaaS products for the securities market. Experience also includes roles as Principal Engineer at Secureworks and Software Engineer at Canonical, alongside a significant tenure as Team Lead at Zope Corporation, leading the development of large-scale web applications. Early career experience includes a supervisory role at Marelli, where mission-critical applications were developed for the automotive industry. Benji holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Tennessee Technological University, earned between 1994 and 1999.
