David Maislin

David Maislin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. David is currently working as a Principal Solutions Architect at Cribl since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Sales Engineering Manager at Splunk from May 2019 to October 2020. Before that position, they held various roles at Splunk, including Principal Partner Sales Engineer from August 2015 to May 2019 and Principal Sales Engineer from January 2011 to August 2015.

David also has experience in sales engineering and management at other companies. David worked as a Director of Sales Engineering at Sendmail, Inc. from January 2008 to March 2010, and at Tumbleweed Communications from March 2003 to January 2008. Prior to that, they were a Senior Sales Engineer at Sigaba from October 2001 to March 2003, at RSA from February 2000 to October 2001, and at EMC (Legato Software) from December 1998 to February 2000.

David started their career as a Consultant at Alliance Consulting Group from December 1997 to December 1998, and at Sprint (Paranet) from December 1996 to December 1997. David also worked as a Consultant at Pencom Systems from December 1995 to December 1996.

David Maislin attended the University of Phoenix from 1993 to 1994, where they studied Computer Information Systems. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they pursued a degree in CIS at Mesa Community College. In 1986 to 1987, David attended the United States Military Academy Preparatory School. Before that, from 1984 to 1986, they studied Computer Information Systems at Arizona State University. In terms of certifications, David obtained various qualifications in Splunk, including Splunk Certified Sales Engineer levels I and II, Splunk 6.0 Administration, Developing Apps with Splunk, Architecting and Deploying Splunk 6, Creating Splunk 6.1 Knowledge Objects, Searching and Reporting with Splunk, Using Splunk 6.0, and Installing and Configuring Splunk for Enterprise Security.
