Ts. Alex Loo is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Cricut since July 2021, key responsibilities include engineering management, project management, and overseeing new product introduction projects. Prior to Cricut, Alex held the position of Global Engineering Director at Printronix, leading multiple departments focused on product engineering, process improvement, and compliance with industry regulations. Alex's earlier career includes roles as Assistant General Manager of Product Engineering at George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad and various engineering positions at Besi APac Sdn Bhd and Focal Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, where foundational skills in project management and engineering development were cultivated. Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford.
