Pete Rushforth

Pete Rushforth has extensive experience in security systems management, currently serving as Managing Director at Crime and Fire Defence Systems Ltd since January 2012. Prior to this role, Pete worked as an Account Manager at Synectics Security Networks from November 2007 to January 2012, and as Operations Manager at Bell Security from 1993 to 2007, where responsibilities included overseeing high security installation teams across the UK. Pete's career in security began as a Commissioning Engineer at Thorn Security from 1984 to 1993, focusing on the testing and commissioning of various high security installations such as CCTV and access control systems. Pete holds a background in science and technology from Kitson College, having attended from 1980 to 1984, and completed education at Woodkirk High School from 1974 to 1980.
