Mick Duthie

Mick Duthie currently serves as the Director of Operations at Crimestoppers Trust, a position held since August 2019. Prior to this role, Mick worked as the Deputy Director of the Santa Marta Group at the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales from February 2017 to August 2019. Mick's extensive career at the Metropolitan Police Service spanned from 1986 to 2017, culminating in the role of Detective Chief Superintendent, where responsibilities included leading a large command of around 900 personnel, managing substantial budgets, and overseeing complex investigations related to homicide and child abuse. Throughout the career at the Metropolitan Police, Mick held various positions, including Detective Superintendent and Detective Inspector, with a focus on serious crimes and community safety. Education was pursued at Bury College.
