Saadia Gardezi is a Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick since October 2020, with courses including PO230 and PO133. Saadia is also the Creative Lead and Co-Founder of Project Dastaan, which utilizes virtual reality to reconnect individuals displaced during the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan with their ancestral villages. Additionally, Saadia works as a freelance reporter for Arab News and has held various editorial roles at The Nation, including Editorial Cartoonist and Op-Ed Editor. With past experience as a Research Associate at the University of Oxford and a Teaching Fellow at the Lahore School of Economics, Saadia has contributed significantly to the fields of economics and politics through teaching and writing. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations and Security Studies from the University of Warwick, along with a Master of Philosophy in South Asian Studies from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick.
