Melissa Fowler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as Senior Director at Crinetics Pharmaceuticals since May 2018, Melissa has held multiple progressive roles within the company, including Director, Associate Director, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Melissa worked as a Senior Scientist at Astellas Pharma and held various scientific positions at Senomyx, Inc. from June 2012 to April 2017. Melissa began their career as a Postdoctoral researcher at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from September 2009 to June 2012. Melissa earned a PhD in Neuroscience from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a BS in Genetics from Texas A&M University.
