Alexandra Bongiorno

Alexandra Bongiorno currently serves as a Registered Nurse in the Department of Neuro-Oncology at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center since November 2023. Previously, Alexandra worked at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse from January 2022 to November 2023, delivering specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans. Alexandra also held the role of Pediatric ICU Patient Care Technician, providing vital patient care support. In addition, Alexandra has experience as a Nursing Research Fellow at VCU School of Nursing from July 2021 to December 2022 and served as a Student Equipment Manager for the football team at William & Mary from March 2019 to March 2021. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from William & Mary.
