Andrew Schutte

Andrew Schutte has worked at VCU Health as the Associate Vice President, Deputy General Counsel since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Associate General Counsel from May 2017 to December 2022. Andrew also worked at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU as the Associate Vice President, Deputy General Counsel starting in January 2023. Before joining VCU Health, Andrew worked at Hancock, Daniel, Johnson & Nagle, P.C. as an Associate from September 2013 to May 2017, and held various roles including Law Clerk, MHA Intern, and Summer Associate from May 2011 to September 2013.

Andrew Schutte has a diverse education background. Andrew holds a MHA degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Andrew also obtained a JD degree in Law from the University of Richmond School of Law. Additionally, they have a BA degree in Double Bass Jazz Performance from the University of Richmond. In terms of additional certifications, Andrew obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in September 2022.
