Tony Herndon has extensive experience in the field of pediatric urology. Tony is currently serving as the Editor in Chief at the Journal of Pediatric Urology since January 2022. Prior to this, Tony held multiple roles at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU starting from June 2016. These roles include Surgeon-in-chief, Chief of Pediatric Urology, Professor of Surgery (Urology), and Medical Director of Perioperative Services. Tony also worked as a Surgeon at the hospital from June 2016 until April 2023.
Tony Herndon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tony also holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the same institution.
