Irfan Baluch

Irfan Baluch serves as the Head of Technology Law at Cripps LLP, a position held since October 2013, after previously being a Partner at Vertex Law part of Cripps Harries Hall LLP from November 2004 to October 2013. Prior experience includes serving as a Lawyer at Davies Lavery Solicitors from 2002 to November 2004, and as a Solicitor at BRACHERS LLP and stevensdrake solicitors between 1999 and 2002. Irfan Baluch began a career in the legal field at DERA (formerly Defence Research Agency, now QinetiQ) as HSO from 1995 to 1997. Areas of expertise encompass Confidentiality, Data Protection, e-Commerce, Information Technology, Intellectual Property, Outsourcing/Procurement, and Commercialisation of IP. Educational background includes attending Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School and obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Engineering with Business Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
