Vivek Saxena

Vivek is a seasoned Legal professional with rich experience of over twenty five years in the fields of Corporate Law, Compliance, Regulatory frameworks and Governance across Banking and Finance, Capital Markets and Insurance sectors.

Prior to joining us he was General Counsel for Aviva Life Insurance and a member of their Executive Committee and Board in India. He looks at his contributions in bancassurance through key alliances, thought leadership in difficult regulatory environments, and managing the interface with the Ministry as memorable over his past four years there.

Vivek has held key positions such as Director-Legal for Markets and International Banking at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he was Lead Lawyer in M & A actions involving management buyout of the private bank entity among other responsibilities. He has also worked with Interglobe Aviation, Deutsche Bank, Citi Smith Barney, Western Union and Max New York Life with responsibilities covering both Legal and Compliance. Vivek started his career with SEBI, and has also spent 5 years with leading Law firms during the formative years of his professional career.

Vivek graduated from the National Law School of India, Bangalore and holds a BA LLB (honors) degree.
